“Wait, what?! How’d I draw that number.” Naruto said blushing brightly red. “You know we don’t have to do that Sakura-chan if you don’t want too.”
Naruto turned back as he walked away to see Sakura standing there in a daze. He wasn’t expecting his kiss to affect her that much, but given the circumstances it was only natural for Sakura to react that way since she never expected Naruto to act that way around her, but he was getting bolder with his feelings and dammit, he wanted to admit to Sakura how much he loved her.
Now wasn’t the time for that, but sooner or later he’d admit his feelings to Sakura because personally they were eating him up and if he didn’t feel anything soon, Naruto was afraid that he might lose interest in Sakura. Then again he’d been so patient and it looked like his patience would soon pay off.
Soon enough Naruto got to Ichiraku’s and took his usual seat as he waited for Sakura who wasn’t too far behind and if she wanted him to pay, so be it. He would pay for this small date of theirs and perhaps after they were done eating, he’d finally admit to Sakura what he wanted to do for so long.
By the time she caught up with Naruto she was panting, her eyes already in a murderous glare. He was seated at the bar stool, probably looking out for her.
She never had been quite as fast as Naruto, especially when it came to ramen.
Sakura closed the distance between him, and just for routines sake, gave him a knuckled punch to his head, her expression stuck onn frustrated. Afterwards, expecting him to give his usual response she sighed. “Looks like you won this time, Naruto-baka.” She shrugged and defeatedly slouched in the seat beside him.
A moment later she turned a normal smile on him, all references of her annoyance wiped away. She pointed towards him a small grin.
